Good things come in threes.

As of February, I left the Rent tour.  The decision was quite difficult to make.  I love the show.  I love the cast, crew, and the band.  To put it simply enough, I felt like an orange who’s juice was completely squeezed out.  So for the first time in my life, I put my mental health first.

The recharge has been pretty successful so far.  First thing I was able to do was to play a number of different shows in quick succession.  It was a welcome challenge to work on shows of such different genres, (Chicago, Newsies, SpongeBob, Bright Star…etc) with almost zero prep.  My sight reading skills got a real workout.

But Rent can’t stay away long enough it seems.  I’m music directing a regional production in New Jersey at the Vanguard Theater Company.  It promises to be a very different and interesting production.  For schedule and tickets, click here!

Next up, on June 9th, I’ll be presenting a reading of my new musical, The Living Club.  This will be an invite only industry reading.  For more information, email thelivingclubmusical@gmail.com. Click here to read the press release!

Coming later this summer will be the release of my next EP: The Burn of Your Mind.

It promises to really run the gamut of music I love…and hopefully you’ll love too.

And lastly…and yes…this is vague…but perhaps you should keep August 18th open for something…

That’s all for now. Talk soon!
